Inspired by the words of the Russian writer Dostoevsky “Compassion is the chief law of human existence” I painted this large mandala to incorporate images of golden buddhas, luxuriant coconut palm trees, dancing African women, wheat sheaves, a swirling infinity symbol and a map of the world inside a heart.
Collectively these images represent my love for our planet and all living beings.
