  • Art Therapy involves using artmaking as a therapeutic tool, where clients create art under the guidance of a trained Art Therapist to express themselves and explore emotions, conflicts and experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Art Therapy provides a non-verbal outlet for expressing thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to verbalise.

    The relationship with your art therapist is an integral part of art therapy to provide extra support assisting you to create change in your life, healing from emotional trauma, mental health challenges, grief and loss, relationship and family issues promoting increased self-esteem, self-awareness, resilience and personal growth.

  • The focus for artmaking in art therapy is about the intuitive process of creating and doesn’t depend on artistic ability or experience. 

    Creating art in art therapy you are encouraged to play and explore the process of using art media such as clay, paint, pastels and collage.

  • Online art therapy is very accessible, and you just need a stable internet connection, camera and microphone.

    The key benefits of online art therapy include flexibility and the convenience of sessions from the privacy and comfort of your own home. 

  • Currently Medicare does not offer an art therapy rebate however you can check with your private health fund insurer if a rebate is available.
